Weimin Li, Male, Doctor of Engineering, is currently a professor and doctoral supervisor at
the School of Computer Engineering and Science of Shanghai University. a visiting researcher
at Waseda University, Japan. In 2013, he was funded by the Japan Society for the Promotion
of Science (JSPS) to visit Waseda University in Japan for two months. He also had visited
the University of California, Santa Barbara from December 2015 to December 2016. He is an
IEEE member, a senior member of the China Computer Federation (CCF), and a member of the CCF
Information System and Collaborative Computing Committee. Since 2005, he has published many
academic papers in international journals, IEEE international conferences and national core
journals. He is mainly engaged in scientific research in the fields of big data analysis,
bioinformatics technology, wise information technology of medical and social network
analysis, etc. Currently, he is a teacher of several undergraduate courses, including
"Database Principles", "Combinatorial Mathematics", "Oracle Database" and "Mobile Internet
Preliminary Exploration" (general education courses).
